This project is proof that even small homes have so much potential. For this townhouse renovation in Highgate Hill, we were able to open it up, modernise the interior and capture more of the home’s city view without making any radical changes to the floorplan.
To achieve this, brick was cut from the building to frame the outlook and allow for the installation of more windows. Steel was used to open up the living area and the interior throughout was modernised with a new colour scheme, flooring and custom joinery. Other updates were made to the kitchen, walk-in robe and staircase, and a new powder room was added to the home. Outside, a new pergola with bifold doors completes the renovation, providing a functional entertaining area connected to the kitchen and living.
Carrying out these renovations required careful logistical planning ahead of time, as the townhouse is located on a busy road with limited access. Even so, we were able to complete construction in the promised timeframe.
